Gold and Manor investment

Collect gold by clearing enemy rooms

Turn combat rooms you can safely clear into run gold for Manor upgrades after the heir returns.

PC / Global full release build.
WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Enemy rooms throughout the Kingdom, beginning in Citadel Agartha. Room placement varies between runs.

Enemies and cleared rooms can yield gold during a Kingdom run. This makes ordinary combat rooms a repeatable source of the currency used for persistent Manor improvements. The room layout and enemies vary, so use this as a room-by-room farming method rather than a fixed route or guaranteed payout. Pick fights your current heir can handle, collect the gold that appears, and keep enough health to reach more rooms or return safely.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Start a Kingdom run with an heir able to fight the enemies you encounter.
  • Know your class’s attack and talent well enough to clear manageable rooms.
  • Have a Manor upgrade goal so you can spend the inheritance deliberately.
  1. Enter an enemy room connected to your current route.
  2. Identify the enemies and hazards before moving into the fight.
  3. Attack enemies you can handle, using your class abilities when they help you avoid damage.
  4. Collect gold dropped by defeated enemies and any room rewards that are actually present.
  5. Check your health before opening another branch; favor rooms you can clear without risking the run unnecessarily.
  6. Continue through manageable enemy rooms while collecting their gold.
  7. When the heir’s run ends, return to the Manor and spend the inherited gold on an available upgrade.

Farming tips

  • A room clear can provide gold, but the amount and drops are not guaranteed by the available route information.
  • Choose a safe fight over a difficult room when low health could end a productive run early.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeat the room-clearing loop across rooms and future heirs. Enemy rooms and their rewards vary; this is a recurring gold source, not a fixed payout or guaranteed drop.

Common mistakes

  • Assuming every enemy drops gold; collect only what appears, and plan around variable rewards.
  • Pushing into a dangerous room just to keep farming; switch to a safer route when health is low.
  • Leaving run gold unspent after returning; use the inheritance at the Manor to advance permanent upgrades.

When to stop or switch

Stop farming enemy rooms when your health makes further combat too risky, or when the heir’s run ends; spend the resulting inheritance at the Manor.
