WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Defeat Estuary bosses in their Kingdom regions, then revisit Mending Erebus near the estate.
Some Scar challenges are gated behind defeating named Estuaries. Treat boss progression as the unlock route: defeat the required Estuary in the Kingdom, then return to Mending Erebus and check which Scar entries are available. The exact challenge unlock depends on the relevant boss requirement, so use the in-game availability after the clear to confirm progress. Scars are separate challenge rooms and their rewards support progression; they are not memories awarded automatically by a boss.
Reach the relevant region and boss through normal progression.
Defeat the Estuary associated with a Scar unlock.
Have access to Mending Erebus to check the challenge list.
Advance through the Kingdom until you can challenge an Estuary.
Review the boss encounter and prepare an heir suited to the fight.
Defeat the Estuary and complete the boss progression for the run.
Return to the estate and enter Mending Erebus.
Speak with Geras or review the available Scar entries.
Check which challenge has become accessible after the boss clear.
Enter the newly available Scar when ready and follow its stated objective for its reward.
Farming tips
Scar access can depend on a named Estuary defeat; check challenge availability after each relevant boss clear.
Separate boss completion from Scar completion: unlocking a challenge does not itself award that Scar’s reward.
Repeat, collect and use
Boss defeats progress the unlock state, while newly accessible Scar rewards are earned by completing their challenges. Completed challenge rewards are limited by their medal or completion state, not an endless farm.
Common mistakes
Expecting every Scar to unlock after any boss; requirements may name a specific Estuary.
Searching the Kingdom for a Scar portal; return to Mending Erebus to check its challenge list.
Assuming the boss clear completes the Scar; enter and complete the challenge separately.
When to stop or switch
Stop making boss attempts specifically for Scar access once the relevant challenge appears in Mending Erebus; shift to completing that challenge.
