WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Special Heirloom rooms found while exploring the Kingdom’s biomes.
Heirlooms grant abilities through special challenge rooms. Their value continues beyond the room where they are found: traversal abilities can reach elevated or blocked paths, while other abilities can change how you handle obstacles. Search for Heirloom rooms as you explore, complete each challenge, and then apply the unlocked ability in later rooms. These are fixed progression unlocks, so use them to expand exploration rather than expecting them as random chest loot.
Find an Heirloom room that is currently accessible.
Meet any prerequisite Heirloom or movement requirement shown by the challenge.
Be prepared to complete the room’s stated traversal or combat objective.
Explore connected rooms and use the map to track branches you have not checked.
Enter a special Heirloom room when you find one.
Read the objective and identify which ability or movement skill it tests.
Complete the challenge using the abilities available to your heir.
Reach the Heirloom statue and claim the permanent ability.
On later runs, use the new ability to test routes and hidden areas that were previously inaccessible.
Return to earlier biomes when the ability suggests a new route may now be reachable.
Farming tips
Heirlooms are permanent ability unlocks, not random chest drops; prioritize claiming a newly found one.
If a room appears impossible, check whether it expects an ability unlocked by another Heirloom first.
Repeat, collect and use
Each Heirloom is a one-time unlock. Exploration and use of its ability can repeat across runs, but the original statue does not provide recurring copies.
Common mistakes
Treating an Heirloom room as an ordinary treasure room; complete its specific challenge.
Leaving before claiming the statue reward; interact with it after reaching the endpoint.
Expecting every hidden path to open immediately; identify which permanent ability the route requires.
When to stop or switch
Stop searching for an already claimed Heirloom; use its ability to pursue the next blocked route or progression objective.
