- Inventory space and a plan for using the product.
Farming steps
- Check the animal’s entry to identify the product it can provide and its care requirements.
- Build or prepare the appropriate habitat for that species.
- Place or invite the domesticated animal into the habitat.
- Provide the care or feed indicated for that animal.
- Visit the habitat and check whether a product is ready to collect.
- Collect the output and reserve any item needed for a contribution, request, or recipe.
- Store, process, or sell remaining output according to the current goal.
- Do not assume animals in the same habitat produce the same item; match the product to the species.
- Make product collection part of a farm visit so you can also check animal care.

Common mistakes
- Building the wrong habitat: verify the animal’s required building first.

When to stop or switch
Continue the loop while the product is useful; pause expansion once storage or current requests are satisfied, and redirect effort to another needed resource.
