Where to farm
Ghrazi Blood Knights in the Crimson Throne and Sanguine creatures around Havenhythe.
Crimson Ichor is a shared combat material for Havenhythe ability codices. You can pursue it through the Ghrazi Blood Knights for an endgame duo route or through Sanguine creatures for a broader Slayer and combat loop. Pair it with remnant energy toward the codex you have chosen, and keep the boss route separate from solo creature farming when deciding how much risk and coordination you want.

Choose a codex goal: Sanguine Offering, Vampyric Slayer or Vital Drain.
Decide whether you will farm Sanguine creatures or attempt the duo boss.
For creature farming, select a local enemy suited to your combat level and gear.
For boss farming, enter the Crimson Throne with a partner after quest unlock.
Collect Crimson Ichor and retain remnant energy toward the planned codex.
Check your actual currency totals before committing to more kills.
When you have the needed materials, use them toward the selected codex.
Farming tips
For the Blood Knights, collect loot from beneath the knight you dealt the most damage to. Loot is forfeited when the instance collapses with no players inside; do not leave before collecting it.
Use creature farming when you want a less coordinated route; reserve the boss for a prepared duo.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat your chosen combat route until the material requirement for the codex is met; do not assume a fixed number of encounters.
Common mistakes
Farming without a codex target: choose the unlock first and track both required currencies.
Treating all routes as equal risk: the boss requires a partner and endgame readiness.
Leaving boss loot behind: collect it before the instance empties.
When to stop or switch
Stop once you can obtain your chosen codex or switch between boss and creatures when your group or supplies are no longer suitable.
