Seren stone Mining XP in Trahaearn

Train Mining at Prifddinas’s Seren stones when you want an experience-focused method that produces corrupted ore rather than ordinary ore stock.

PC / English RuneScape (RS3) global live service; distinct from Old School RuneScape.
WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Southern Trahaearn district in Prifddinas, at the Seren stones near Lady Trahaearn; the Trahaearn tower has a bank chest.

Seren stones provide a repeatable Mining training method in the south of Prifddinas’s Trahaearn district. You need 89 Mining and access to Prifddinas, which is unlocked by completing Plague’s End. Mine the stones near Lady Trahaearn to chip away their corruption and earn Mining experience. The result is corrupted ore, not a conventional selection of ores for banking and crafting. Lady Trahaearn’s dialogue describes the corrupted ore as having no other purpose than smelting it away, so treat it as a by-product rather than the reason to choose this method. Bring a pickaxe, mine until you reach your session goal, and decide whether to keep the ore for smelting. If you retain it, the Trahaearn tower has a bank chest nearby. This route suits players who want Mining experience without managing a broad ore-gathering circuit. No discrete daily reward reset is part of this loop, so return whenever you want more Mining experience.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Level 89 Mining.
  • Completion of Plague’s End to unlock Prifddinas.
  • A usable pickaxe.
  • Inventory space if you intend to keep corrupted ore.
  1. Complete Plague’s End and travel to Prifddinas.
  2. Go to the Trahaearn district and find the Seren stones south of Lady Trahaearn.
  3. Carry or equip a pickaxe and begin mining a stone.
  4. Continue mining while tracking Mining experience as the session’s main output.
  5. Keep corrupted ore only if you plan to smelt it; otherwise manage your inventory for the session.
  6. Use the nearby Trahaearn tower bank chest if you are banking ore, then return to the stones as needed.

Farming tips

  • Choose this method for Mining experience; it does not provide ordinary ore stock.
  • The Trahaearn tower chest makes it convenient to bank corrupted ore if you decide to keep it.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeat the mining interaction whenever you want more Mining experience. The activity is ongoing, with no limited daily allotment stated.

Common mistakes

  • Going before Plague’s End or with less than 89 Mining; meet both access gates first.
  • Expecting regular ore drops; the stones produce corrupted ore instead.

When to stop or switch

Stop when your Mining session goal is met or when you want a method that supplies ordinary ore; bank any corrupted ore you chose to retain.
