Before you go
- Unlock the Black Powder recipe and Assembler.
- Supply Coal and Sulfur with transport to the machine.
Farming steps
- Place and power an Assembler, then select Black Powder.
- Connect a Coal supply to one input.
- Connect a Sulfur supply to the other input.
- Collect the powder output and route it to Nobelisk or Smokeless Powder production.
- Monitor both input buffers while comparing output against the 100% clock rate.
- At 100% clock, budget equal item rates of 15 Coal/min and 15 Sulfur/min.
- Keep Black Powder storage sized for its explosive crafting demand.
Repeat, collect and use
Continue feeding both ingredients while Black Powder is needed by downstream recipes.
Common mistakes
- Do not expect an Assembler to run with only Coal or only Sulfur.
- Do not confuse the 2-item batch output with a single Black Powder per cycle.
When to stop or switch
Stop production when your explosive or Smokeless Powder lines have enough Black Powder for their planned demand.
