Before you go

Farming steps

  1. Unlock the Jetpack recipe and gather the required crafting materials.
  2. Collect 5 Motors, 10 Steel Pipes, 25 Iron Plates, and 50 Wire.
  3. Open the Equipment Workshop and select Jetpack.
  4. Craft one Jetpack and equip it in the appropriate equipment slot.
  5. Carry compatible fuel in your inventory before taking off.
  6. Set a preferred fuel type in the equipment inventory if desired, then test the Jetpack somewhere safe.

Repeat, collect and use

Restock compatible fuel before another flight. Craft another Jetpack only when you need an additional unit.

Common mistakes

  • Searching for a Jetpack resource node or trying to craft it in a factory machine.
  • Equipping the Jetpack without carrying compatible fuel.
  • Setting a preferred fuel type and assuming it will be available when you have none in inventory.

When to stop or switch

Stop crafting when you have the equipment you need; end a flight when fuel is low or continuing would make landing unsafe.
