CRAFTING & INGREDIENTS

Jetpack acquisition

Craft the Jetpack at the Equipment Workshop using its unlocked recipe.

The Jetpack lets you travel through the air with increased control. Craft it manually at the Equipment Workshop after unlocking its recipe. Each Jetpack requires 5 Motors, 10 Steel Pipes, 25 Iron Plates, and 50 Wire. Once equipped, it uses fuel from your inventory to refill while you are on the ground. Supported fuel types provide different levels of efficiency, and the preferred type set in your equipment inventory is used when available. Gather the full ingredient set before crafting, then carry compatible fuel and keep track of your supply as you fly.

Crafting tips

  • The Jetpack refills from fuel in your inventory while you are on the ground.
  • Different fuel types have different efficiency; the preferred type is used when it is available.
  • Bring enough fuel for your trip and keep some in reserve for landing or returning.

Repeat, collect and use

Restock compatible fuel before another flight. Craft another Jetpack only when you need an additional unit.

Common mistakes

  • Searching for a Jetpack resource node or trying to craft it in a factory machine.
  • Equipping the Jetpack without carrying compatible fuel.
  • Setting a preferred fuel type and assuming it will be available when you have none in inventory.

When to stop or switch

Stop crafting when you have the equipment you need; end a flight when fuel is low or continuing would make landing unsafe.
