Motor is a mechanical component used in recipes for Modular Engine, Turbo Motor, and several equipment items, including the Rifle, Hoverpack, and Jetpack. You manufacture it from Rotor and Stator in an Assembler; it is not a node resource. The main bottleneck is supplying both ingredients in equal recipe quantities, with Rotor and Stator production staying synchronized so the machine does not idle on one missing input. The default recipe takes 12 seconds per cycle, consuming two Rotors and two Stators to produce one Motor. Alternate recipes can change the ingredients or machine, but require their own unlocks.

How to craft
Use an Assembler after unlocking the Motor recipe and building. Route Rotor and Stator from their own production chains into the machine, then send the finished Motors to the intended downstream consumer or storage.
Before you craft
Assembler and Motor recipe unlocked
2 Rotors and 2 Stators per batch
Unlock the Motor recipe and place an Assembler.
Produce Rotors and Stators in their respective production lines; neither is a substitute for the other in the default recipe.
Supply 2 Rotors and 2 Stators to the Assembler for each cycle, and make sure both input lines can sustain the planned rate.
Run the 12-second default recipe to produce 1 Motor.
Convey the output to its destination, such as Modular Engine, Turbo Motor, or equipment production. Add storage if you need a reserve for more than one consumer.
Crafting tips
At 100% clock, the Assembler consumes 10 Rotors and 10 Stators per minute and outputs 5 Motors per minute.
Balance both ingredient lines; surplus of one part cannot compensate for a shortage of the other.
If an alternate recipe is unlocked and selected, check its recipe card before applying default-recipe rate calculations.
Repeat, collect and use
Continue while the downstream production queue needs Motors, checking that Rotor and Stator supplies recover before restarting an idle line. Keep the output belt or container clear so a full output does not halt production.
Common mistakes
Searching the map for a Motor deposit instead of manufacturing the item.
Feeding only Rotors or only Stators and expecting partial Motor production.
Assuming an alternate Motor recipe is available without unlocking it.
When to stop or switch
Stop or divert the line when the planned Motor buffer is full and downstream demand is covered.
