CRAFTING & INGREDIENTS

Stator acquisition

Select the default Stator recipe in an Assembler. At 100% clock, supply 15 Steel Pipes and 40 Wire per minute to produce 5 Stators per minute.

Stators are manufactured components used in Motors, Automated Wiring, Electromagnetic Control Rods, and other recipes. The default recipe combines Steel Pipe and Wire in an Assembler. Each batch consumes 3 Steel Pipes and 8 Wire to produce 1 Stator, so either ingredient can limit output. An optional Quickwire Stator recipe produces 2 Stators per batch from Steel Pipes and Quickwire; use it only if you have unlocked it.

How to craft

Before you craft

  • Assembler and Stator recipe unlocked.
  • 3 Steel Pipes and 8 Wire per default batch.
  1. Produce or route Steel Pipes and Wire to the same assembly area.
  2. Build and power an Assembler, then select Stator.
  3. Connect each ingredient line to its own input and verify both are arriving.
  4. Route Stators to the Motor, Automated Wiring, Control Rod, or other production line that needs them.
  5. Watch downstream consumption so you can spot when demand exceeds supply.
  6. Increase production only when both ingredient lines can support the added output.

Crafting tips

  • A full-rate Assembler needs 15 Steel Pipes and 40 Wire per minute.
  • The optional Quickwire Stator recipe uses 4 Steel Pipes and 15 Quickwire to make 2 Stators per batch; it requires its own unlock.

Repeat, collect and use

Keep the Assembler running while both inputs are supplied and downstream production or stock needs Stators.

Common mistakes

  • Searching for Stators as a world resource instead of manufacturing them in an Assembler.
  • Overlooking the Steel Pipe input because Wire is already reaching the machine.

When to stop or switch

Stop or throttle production when the target stock is full or either ingredient is needed elsewhere.
