Before you go

Farming steps

  1. Hold V, select Limestone, and follow the compass to a node group.
  2. Inspect the candidate node and choose one that can reach the construction area without an awkward route.
  3. For a temporary batch, place a Portable Miner and return to collect its internal output manually.
  4. For continued supply, place a Miner on the node and connect it to a belt.
  5. Feed Limestone into a Constructor configured for Concrete, then route the output to storage or the build site.
  6. Power the machines and watch the output route so full storage does not halt the line.
  7. Add another Miner or Constructor only when construction use repeatedly empties the supply.

Repeat, collect and use

The Miner-to-Constructor loop is renewable and can run continuously when powered and able to unload. A Portable Miner batch requires manual collection; place it again or collect another batch when you need more Limestone.

Common mistakes

  • Building a long conveyor before checking the route can waste setup effort; inspect terrain and distance first.
  • Letting storage fill stops material flow; consume Concrete, add storage, or reduce the feed if the line stalls.
  • Assuming a Portable Miner sends Limestone to the Constructor is incorrect; it stores output for manual collection.

When to stop or switch

Stop scaling when stored Concrete covers routine building work. Resume expansion if new construction projects repeatedly drain the buffer faster than it refills.
