Before you go

Farming steps

  1. Unlock the Steel Beam recipe if it is not already available.
  2. Build and power a Constructor near your Steel Ingot supply.
  3. Select Steel Beam in the machine’s recipe list.
  4. Feed the Constructor Steel Ingots; each batch uses 4 ingots and produces 1 beam.
  5. Route the output to storage or directly to a consumer such as Versatile Framework production.
  6. Check the ingot feed and output route if production pauses.

Repeat, collect and use

Keep the Constructor supplied and its output clear. Continue making beams while construction or connected production needs them.

Common mistakes

  • Searching the world for a Steel Beam deposit instead of manufacturing the part.
  • Expecting continuous output when the Constructor is short on Steel Ingots or its output is blocked.

When to stop or switch

Stop or reduce production once your beam reserve and connected consumers have enough.
