Before you go
- A Sulfur node accessible in your world.
- Miner and transport to move the extracted Sulfur.
Farming steps
- Filter the resource map for Sulfur.
- Inspect node purity and choose a location you can access; account for randomization settings if enabled.
- Place the appropriate Miner on the node.
- Connect a belt or other transport to carry Sulfur to production or storage.
- Feed it to a recipe such as Black Powder in an Assembler or Sulfuric Acid in a Refinery, once unlocked.
- Sulfur supports several uses, so route only the amount needed by each active consumer.
- Optional alternate recipes that use Sulfur require their own unlock; do not assume they are available from the start.
Repeat, collect and use
Keep extracting and routing Sulfur while production demand continues, and check the node and transport line if supply falls.
Common mistakes
- Searching the map with mismatched randomized settings and assuming the standard node layout is exact.
- Using a crafted-item machine as the node extractor instead of a Miner.
When to stop or switch
Stop or throttle extraction when storage and active consumers have adequate Sulfur.
