Farming steps
- Unlock the recipe and place a Constructor with an ingot input.
- Deliver Aluminum Ingots to the Constructor.
- Connect an output belt or storage for the casings.
- Send casings to the downstream product currently needed.
- Check ingot availability before committing the output to several consumers.
- Increase supply only when the upstream aluminum chain can sustain it.
- At 100% clock, the Constructor consumes 90 Aluminum Ingots/min and makes 60 Aluminum Casings/min.
- Casings serve several recipes, so divide output deliberately if multiple lines depend on them.
- Use a buffer to prevent intermittent ingot supply from stalling a downstream manufacturer.
Repeat, collect and use
Keep Aluminum Ingots flowing and replenish casing stock according to downstream demand.
Common mistakes
- Looking for Aluminum Casings at a node instead of manufacturing them in a Constructor.
- Underestimating the 90 ingots/min input at 100% clock and starving the Constructor.
When to stop or switch
Pause or redirect the Constructor when casing demand is satisfied or the ingot line needs those materials elsewhere.
