Aluminum Casing is a manufactured container-like component made in a Constructor from Aluminum Ingots. Its default recipe yields two casings for every three ingots. It feeds Fused Modular Frames, Radio Control Units, Turbo Rifle Ammo, and Iodine-Infused Filters. The main bottleneck is the upstream Aluminum Ingot supply. Recipe rates assume a Constructor at 100% clock.

How to craft
Unlock the Aluminum Casing recipe and Constructor, then deliver Aluminum Ingots to the machine. Casings are crafted parts, not a resource-map pickup. Aluminum Ingots themselves require their own production chain.
Before you craft
Constructor building and Aluminum Casing recipe unlocked
3 Aluminum Ingots per batch
Unlock the recipe and place a Constructor with an ingot input.
Deliver Aluminum Ingots to the Constructor.
Connect an output belt or storage for the casings.
Send casings to the downstream product currently needed.
Check ingot availability before committing the output to several consumers.
Increase supply only when the upstream aluminum chain can sustain it.
Crafting tips
At 100% clock, the Constructor consumes 90 Aluminum Ingots/min and makes 60 Aluminum Casings/min.
Casings serve several recipes, so divide output deliberately if multiple lines depend on them.
Use a buffer to prevent intermittent ingot supply from stalling a downstream manufacturer.
Repeat, collect and use
Keep Aluminum Ingots flowing and replenish casing stock according to downstream demand.
Common mistakes
Looking for Aluminum Casings at a node instead of manufacturing them in a Constructor.
Underestimating the 90 ingots/min input at 100% clock and starving the Constructor.
When to stop or switch
Pause or redirect the Constructor when casing demand is satisfied or the ingot line needs those materials elsewhere.
