Where to farm
Hot springs south of Windhelm and nearby volcanic terrain in Eastmarch.
The hot springs south of Windhelm hold clusters of Creep Cluster alongside other harvestable plants. Gather them for recipes that share Fortify Carry Weight, or save them for combinations involving Giant’s Toe and other effects. The area is not risk-free, so collect what you need and leave hostile encounters optional.
Carry enough inventory space for several kinds of ingredients.
Bring a plan for avoiding or handling hostile giants and a dragon if encountered.
Leave Windhelm and head south toward the hot springs terrain.
Search the spring-covered ground and rocky edges for Creep Cluster, harvesting each plant you can safely reach.
Collect nearby Jazbay Grapes or Dragon’s Tongue if you have recipes that use them; do not let optional plants crowd out the target.
Return to an Alchemy Lab and check the effects of Creep Cluster against the ingredients in your inventory.
Pair it with Giant’s Toe for Fortify Carry Weight, or use another verified shared-effect combination available to you.
Brew the potions, keep the ones useful for hauling, and sell extras to fund more ingredients or equipment.
