Where to farm
The Midden beneath the College of Winterhold.
The Atronach Forge in the Midden can create items from recipe inputs. The Sigil Stone, obtained through the Conjuration Ritual Spell progression, unlocks stronger Daedric recipes. This is a materials-consuming craft route: choose a recipe, gather its listed inputs, and use the forge only when the output is worth those resources.
Reach the College of Winterhold and access the Midden.
Meet the Conjuration Ritual Spell progression requirements to obtain the Sigil Stone.
Gather the exact inputs listed for the Daedric recipe you intend to use.
Travel into the Midden beneath the College of Winterhold and locate the Atronach Forge.
Complete the Conjuration Ritual Spell when eligible and obtain the Sigil Stone.
Place the Sigil Stone on the forge’s pedestal to enable the stronger recipe set.
Choose a Daedric item recipe and read its required ingredients before crafting.
Collect each listed input, checking the recipe again so no substitute is assumed.
Place the required items in the offering box and activate the forge.
Collect the result and compare its use against the value of the consumed materials before repeating.
Farming tips
Use the forge for a specific equipment target; gathering rare inputs without a chosen recipe can create unnecessary detours.
Keep recipe inputs separate from ordinary crafting stock until you are ready to activate the forge.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat only when you have another full set of inputs for a chosen recipe. Every craft consumes materials; the Sigil Stone unlock is a progression step, not a repeatable reward.
