Crafting the correct extractor unlocks targeted resource collection for Slime Science projects.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
The Slime Science fabricator in the Ranch Lab; deploy crafted extractors at marked sites in wild biomes.
Drills, Pumps and Apiaries are Slime Science extractors that produce different kinds of materials. Start from the resource your fabricator recipe needs, then craft the matching extractor and deploy it in an eligible wild site. A Drill is the Quarry tool for Indigonium; an Apiary in Moss Blanket can return Wild Honey. The Lab recipe book shows what the selected gadget requires, so gather ingredients before beginning the expedition.
The blueprint and recipe ingredients for the desired extractor.
A destination region and legal site appropriate to the target resource.
Open the fabricator and select the exact extractor or gadget tied to your target resource.
Read the displayed ingredient list and reserve the required plorts and science materials.
Gather missing ingredients from corrals, the Market, or the relevant region before crafting.
Use the fabricator to craft the extractor once its listed ingredients are available.
Travel to the appropriate biome and find a marked legal extractor placement point.
Place the extractor, then return after its collection cycle and gather the output.
Bring the returns to the Lab, use the target material in the planned recipe, and repeat deployment if more is needed.
Farming tips
Match extractor class to resource: Drills target mineral returns, Pumps liquid deposits and Apiaries biological materials.
Check region-specific requirements before leaving the Ranch; a correct extractor in the wrong biome will not supply that exclusive.
Repeat, collect and use
Crafting consumes recipe ingredients each time; deployment and collection can be repeated, but each extractor has finite cycles and returns vary by site.
Common mistakes
Crafting an extractor without checking its recipe: collect the displayed ingredients first.
Taking a mismatched extractor: select the class associated with the resource you need.
Expecting a regional material at a Ranch placement: deploy in the biome tied to that material.
When to stop or switch
Stop crafting extractors when you have enough output for the current recipe; switch to the next required resource and its matching class or region.
