Indigonium is an Indigo Quarry material used for Slime Science crafting, so targeted Drill runs can supply specific recipes.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Drill extractor sites in the Indigo Quarry, accessed through its Slime Gate.
Indigonium is obtained with a Drill in the Indigo Quarry; it is not a loose item to vacuum from the rock formations. Bring an extractor when you have a recipe that calls for the material, place it at a valid site in the Quarry, then collect the finished returns and sort them back at the Lab. A Drill may return other materials as well, so plan around the recipe rather than assuming every cycle produces Indigonium.
A crafted Drill and a legal extractor placement point in the Quarry.
A Slime Science recipe that needs Indigonium, if farming for a specific build.
Check the fabricator recipe book at the Ranch Lab and note the Indigonium amount your target gadget requires.
Travel through the Slime Gate into the Indigo Quarry with a Drill available.
Explore until you find a marked legal extractor placement point.
Place the Drill at the site and allow its extraction cycle to finish.
Return to the placement point and collect the Drill’s output, sorting out any Indigonium.
Carry the material back to the Lab and use it for the selected recipe.
If the recipe still needs more, place another Drill at a valid site and repeat the collection trip.
Farming tips
Bring the Drill for Indigonium: ordinary VacPack collection does not produce this material.
Collect other Drill returns too; they may help with different fabricator recipes.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable with Drills and access to the Quarry; a given extractor cycle has a finite output, so redeploy for another run when more material is needed.
Common mistakes
Searching for loose Indigonium in the environment: place a Drill at a valid Quarry extractor site.
Using a different extractor class: the target requires a Drill.
Leaving without collecting finished returns: include the site in your return route before the output is needed.
When to stop or switch
Stop placing Drills once your recipe reserve is complete; switch to the next ingredient or to a different region-specific material.
