WHERE & HOW TO FARM Where to farm Eligible Apiary sites in the Moss Blanket, reached through its Slime Gate or an opened route.
To obtain Wild Honey, take an Apiary into the Moss Blanket and place it at an eligible extractor site. The resource comes from the extractor return rather than from vacuuming the Honey Slimes that live in the region. Check the fabricator first so you know whether you need a small recipe reserve or a longer series of collection trips; the extractor can also produce other materials.
Before you go Access to the Moss Blanket through its Slime Gate or another opened route. A crafted Apiary and an available legal placement point. A fabricator recipe target that uses Wild Honey. At the Lab, identify the recipe that requires Wild Honey and note the amount needed. Take an Apiary into the Moss Blanket; do not deploy it at the Ranch if the target is the region-specific material. Locate a marked extractor placement point and place the Apiary there. Allow the extractor cycle to finish, then revisit the Apiary site. Collect its output and sort for Wild Honey among the returns. Bring the material back to the Lab and craft the selected gadget or store the reserve. If you still need more, place another Apiary at an eligible site and repeat the trip. Farming tips Use an Apiary for this biological resource; the extractor class matters. Collect other Apiary returns while making the Wild Honey trip, since the output is not limited to one material. Repeat, collect and use Repeatable by redeploying Apiaries in the Moss Blanket; each deployed extractor has finite cycles and may return materials besides Wild Honey.
Common mistakes Placing the Apiary at home and expecting the regional material: deploy it in Moss Blanket. Trying to obtain Wild Honey from Honey Slime plorts: use the Apiary return for the Slime Science resource. Leaving without checking output: return to the deployed Apiary after its cycle and collect the result. When to stop or switch Stop making Moss Blanket Apiary trips when your recipe reserve is complete; switch to the next material required by the fabricator.
