WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Oak Forest tree trunks with Bark nodes and nearby Saplings.

Bark and Resin come from different sources and should not be treated as interchangeable. Harvest Bark nodes on tree trunks with the appropriate tool, then gather Saplings nearby for Resin, Wood and Fiber. This combined outing is useful when you need multiple tree related materials, but keep the resulting stacks distinct at home.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Hatchet or other tool appropriate to Bark nodes.
  • Gathering tool for Saplings.
  • Inventory capacity for Bark, Resin, Wood and Fiber.
  • A clear plan for which materials you need.
  1. Before leaving, check whether the recipes require Bark, Resin or both.
  2. Travel through Oak Forest and inspect tree trunks for Bark nodes.
  3. Harvest each Bark node with the appropriate tool and collect the Bark separately.
  4. Move between trunks by gathering nearby Saplings for Resin, Wood and Fiber.
  5. Check inventory during the run so incidental materials do not crowd out the target stack.
  6. Return to base and store Bark, Resin, Wood and Fiber in separate stacks.
  7. Take only the exact material needed to its next recipe or building project.

Farming tips

  • Saplings are a useful companion stop when Bark is the main target because they also yield other materials.
  • If you only need one resource, keep the trip focused and skip unrelated pickups when inventory is limited.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeat Oak Forest gathering when stocks run low. The method relies on field nodes and plants; no specific respawn timing or fixed yield is assumed.

Common mistakes

  • Using Bark where Resin is required: compare the exact recipe input.
  • Searching only Saplings for Bark: Bark comes from Bark nodes on tree trunks.
  • Overfilling inventory with Wood and Fiber: leave capacity for the named target.

When to stop or switch

Stop when you have the required amount of each material for the planned craft, or switch to a focused single-material run if carrying capacity becomes the constraint.
