Unholy Cathedral offers a resource run with mineral types that are randomized rather than fixed to a map pool. Ritual choice matters when pursuing higher-rarity tiers: Ritual of Hate or Heresy is listed as a gate for rare, epic, or legendary materials. This makes the Cathedral useful when you want a chance at varied materials or are pursuing those rarity conditions, but it is less predictable than a targeted Void Fields map. Choose a survivable Ritual, complete the run, check the materials received, and spend them on your Blacksmith plan.
Know the material type or rarity your recipe needs.
Use a build that can handle the selected Ritual and enemy waves.
Inspect the Blacksmith requirement and decide whether you need a particular mineral or higher rarity.
Open Unholy Cathedral and review the available Ritual choices.
If targeting higher rarity, select Ritual of Hate or Heresy when available and appropriate.
Choose a difficulty your build can complete rather than maximizing danger immediately.
Clear the encounter while collecting exposed materials and rewards.
Complete the run and check the material inventory for actual results.
Compare stock with the recipe and spend suitable materials at the Blacksmith.
For a remaining fixed mineral shortage, plan a Void Fields map instead.
