Farming steps
- Set aside produce after harvest instead of shipping the entire crop immediately.
- Group five items of the same produce type; do not combine unlike crops in one batch.
- Place the matching batch into the Dehydrator according to its machine interface.
- Allow the machine to finish processing, then collect the dried output.
- Move the finished goods into storage or ship them if they are not reserved for another use.
- Repeat with another group of five matching items while the harvest supply lasts.
- Keep any raw crop needed for bundles, quests, or replanting out of the processing stack.
- A chest beside the machine makes it easier to stage five-item batches without mixing crop types.
- Compare the need for dried goods with other available processing options before committing scarce produce.
