Stardew Valley FARMING GUIDES

Know what to farm.
And where to go.

Stardew Valley farming is seasonal: crops die when their season ends unless they regrow or span seasons. The farm expands through sprinklers, greenhouse access and processing machines. Foraging, fishing and mining fill income and crafting gaps. Keep bundle and crafting items before selling every harvest.

✦

Plan outdoor crops around the season

Most crops stop growing when the season changes, so check each crop’s growth time before planting late. Keep bundle and request crops before selling your surplus.

✦

Greenhouse crops ignore seasonal changes

Repair the Greenhouse through the Community Center Pantry or Joja route before planning year-round crops there. Its interior lets you grow crops through the outdoor season changes.

Match fishing trips to the target fish

River, lake and ocean fish have different season, weather and active-hour conditions. Check the Fish table before spending a day at a particular water body, and keep bundle or quest catches.
