How to farm
Before you go
Farming skill level 2 for the basic Sprinkler recipe.
Copper and Iron Bars for the basic Sprinkler.
Tilled crop plots within the sprinkler’s coverage.
Reach Farming level 2 to unlock the basic Sprinkler recipe.
Gather ore and smelt one Copper Bar and one Iron Bar for the basic unit.
Craft the Sprinkler and place it where the four cardinal adjacent tiles are tilled crop plots.
Plant crops on covered tiles and confirm that the daily watering pattern reaches them.
Check the field after a morning to identify uncovered corners or missed rows before planting more.
As Farming skill and resources improve, consider Quality or Iridium Sprinklers for broader coverage.
Collect harvests and replant covered tiles without adding daily hand watering.
Farming tips
Design the field around coverage before planting so sprinkler tiles do not waste space or leave dry crops.
Sprinklers water only tilled tiles; they do not cover Garden Pots or sand.
Repeat, collect and use
This is a permanent infrastructure setup. Once placed, each sprinkler waters its covered tilled tiles every morning; maintain and expand as the farm changes.
Common mistakes
Placing a basic sprinkler expecting diagonal coverage; it waters only the four directly adjacent tiles.
Planting outside the coverage pattern; verify the grid before committing seeds.
Expecting sprinklers to water pots or sand; keep those crops on a compatible watering plan.
When to stop or switch
Stop crafting a tier when it covers the field you can maintain; upgrade or add units when expansion is worth the materials.
