How to farm
Before you go
Repair through Community Center Pantry Bundles or the Joja development purchase.
Seeds or fruit trees suited to the intended year-round plan.
Watering Can or sprinklers for the interior crop plot.
Complete the Pantry Bundles or purchase the Greenhouse development through Joja to repair the building.
Enter and plan the 10-by-12 soil plot before planting; leave space for sprinklers if using them.
Plant crops that can grow in any season, including regrowing crops if repeated harvests are the goal.
Water crops every day, including rainy days; the trough along the north wall refills the Watering Can.
Place sprinklers on the wooden border where their range can reach crop tiles, checking for uncovered spaces.
If planting fruit trees, use unoccupied perimeter spots and keep the required surrounding space clear while they grow.
Collect mature crops and move them to storage or processing, then replant single-harvest crops as desired.
Farming tips
Regrowing crops continue through season changes indoors, so they are useful when steady harvests matter more than seasonal rotation.
Bee Houses inside the Greenhouse produce no honey; keep apiaries outdoors near flowers instead.
Repeat, collect and use
The Greenhouse is a permanent unlock. Harvest crops as they mature; regrowing crops continue producing while maintained, and single-harvest plants can be replanted.
Common mistakes
Assuming greenhouse crops need no water; maintain daily watering or sprinkler coverage.
Planting before planning sprinkler space; map the plot first to avoid losing crop tiles unexpectedly.
Putting Bee Houses indoors for flower honey; use an outdoor flower plot for apiaries.
When to stop or switch
Keep the building in use as long as crops or trees are useful; switch plantings when your goals or processing needs change.
