Tappers convert established trees into recurring materials used in production. Keeping different tree species tapped provides distinct products for later crafting.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Maple, Oak, and Pine trees on the farm or other accessible outdoor areas.
Identify Maple, Oak, and Pine trees, attach Tappers, and collect each tree’s species-specific product for storage or recipes.
Tapper recipe and materials to craft one or more Tappers.
Mature Maple, Oak, or Pine trees that can be reached.
Space to leave tapped trees standing until collection.
Choose a set of trees and identify each species before placing equipment.
Craft a Tapper using the recipe available to your character.
Place one Tapper on each selected tree and leave the tree intact.
Check the Tapper later for a finished product; the product depends on the tree species.
Collect Maple Syrup from Maple, Oak Resin from Oak, and Pine Tar from Pine.
Store products separately so Oak Resin and Pine Tar are available when production recipes require them.
Reattach or keep the Tapper in place to continue the production cycle.
Farming tips
Tap trees before clearing a wooded edge so useful trees are not cut down by accident.
Use labels or a written layout if several species are mixed together; the outputs are not interchangeable.
Repeat, collect and use
This is a repeatable production loop: leave each Tapper attached, collect its output when ready, and continue using the same tree. Collection timing varies by product and setup.
Common mistakes
Tapping the wrong tree while expecting a specific item; verify the species because it determines the product.
Chopping a tapped tree during cleanup; mark or preserve production trees.
Selling Oak Resin or Pine Tar before checking crafting needs; retain materials intended for recipes.
When to stop or switch
Stop tapping a species when its output is no longer needed or storage is full; collect the device and repurpose the tree area if desired.
