WHERE & HOW TO FARM Where to farm The Beach shoreline, including its accessible east and west stretches.
Walk the accessible shoreline, collect visible beach forage, then reserve items with a current use before selling the remainder.
Before you go Beach access. Inventory room for shells and other forage. Season awareness, since shoreline items vary with season. Travel to the Beach and begin along one shoreline edge so you can cover the area systematically. Walk the accessible east and west stretches and pick up visible forage such as shells, coral, or sea urchins when present. Check around the pier and other walkable shoreline areas before beginning a fishing session or leaving. Compare the haul with current bundle, quest, gift, crafting, and cooking needs. Store any item you need for those purposes before putting surplus into the shipping bin. Use edible items as food only when appropriate; keep non-food collection items for their intended use. Return later in the season for another sweep because the selection can change. Farming tips Combine a shoreline sweep with an ocean fishing trip to avoid making a separate visit for each activity. Forage quality can rise with the Botanist profession, but it does not change which items appear. Repeat, collect and use Repeat on later Beach visits; shoreline forage can vary by season and day. Keep needed collection items, and sell only the extra.
Common mistakes Checking only one short stretch; walk both accessible sides of the shoreline. Assuming the same shells appear every day; item availability varies, so check the ground each visit. Shipping a needed bundle or quest item; reserve it before sorting the sale pile. When to stop or switch Stop when the shoreline is clear or the remaining items are not worth the time; switch to fishing or another scheduled task.
