WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Seasonal outdoor maps including the Mountain, Pelican Town, Cindersap Forest, and Beach.
Search accessible outdoor maps for seasonal ground items and berry bushes, then sort the haul into progression reserves, useful food, and saleable surplus.
Season awareness; some bush berries appear only during short seasonal windows.
Check the calendar and current season to know which forage and berry windows may be active.
Start with the Mountain and Town, then cross into Cindersap Forest and the Beach when convenient.
Look across grassy ground and shoreline areas for visible forage; pick up items rather than assuming they remain available indefinitely.
During Spring 15–18, shake Salmonberry bushes around town. During Fall 8–11, check bushes for Blackberries as well as ground forage.
Before leaving an area, check paths and map edges for visible items, while remembering some forage can be obscured by scenery.
At home, place bundle, quest, cooking, and gift items into storage before shipping the remaining goods.
Use edible forage for energy when useful, or retain ingredients for crafting and cooking.
Farming tips
Uncollected forage is cleared at the weekly reset and season start, so a sweep before those transitions can recover items that would otherwise disappear.
The Tracker profession can point toward off-screen spawned forage in the current area, but it does not reveal berry-bush locations.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat the route on later days and in new seasons; standard forage spawns vary, while Salmonberries and bush Blackberries have limited seasonal windows.
Common mistakes
Expecting the same items on every visit; forage varies by map and season, so adjust the route to current conditions.
Missing the short berry seasons by relying only on ground items; check bushes during the listed windows.
Shipping everything before checking needs; keep bundle, gift, cooking, and crafting items first.
When to stop or switch
Stop sweeping once you have the needed seasonal items or when travel time is better spent on a farm task; revisit during a new season or berry window.
