Summer crops provide seasonal income and can supply food, bundles, and processing ingredients. Planning for regrowth and access keeps the field productive through the season.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Tilled Standard Farm plots in Summer; Pierre’s General Store carries many seasonal seeds.
Plant only crops with a useful harvest window, maintain daily watering, and preserve any produce needed for progression before selling the extra yield.

How to farm
Before you go
Summer seeds and a prepared field.
Watering Can or sprinklers for the crop area.
Enough remaining Summer days for the selected crop to mature.
Count the days remaining in Summer and check the crop’s growth time before buying seeds.
Hoe the plots, fertilize if desired, sow the seeds, and water them on planting day.
Arrange Green Beans or Hops so every trellis tile you need to tend or harvest remains reachable; trellises block walking.
Water crops daily unless sprinklers cover their tilled tiles. A missed watering delays growth.
Harvest mature crops. Leave regrowing plants in place and continue watering them to collect later harvests.
Keep produce needed for bundles, quests, cooking, gifts, or processing; ship only the surplus.
Collect ready crops before the last day. Most seasonal crops die when Summer turns to Fall.
Farming tips
Blueberries and other multi-harvest crops need continued watering after the first harvest to keep producing.
Coffee Beans can be planted in Spring or Summer if you obtain them; mature plants continue producing and five beans can be processed into coffee in a keg.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat each Summer with a new planting plan. Multi-harvest plants yield again while watered and in season; single-harvest crops must be replanted.
Common mistakes
Planting a slow crop too late to mature; compare its growth time with the days remaining before spending on seeds.
Blocking access with trellises; use rows or lanes that let you reach every plant.
Selling all produce immediately; reserve known bundle, request, recipe, and processing inputs first.
When to stop or switch
Stop adding seeds when they cannot mature before Summer 28, and shift effort to harvesting, processing, or preparing Fall plots.
