WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
D1G-g2r at the Scrap Yard in the Wasteland.
D1G-g2r sells Drone Upgrade Modules for Micro Coils and Micro Drives. This gives a predictable purchase option alongside the fixed regional pickups, but materials also support crafting and upgrades, so check your reserves before buying. Each module costs 50 Micro Coils and 250 Micro Drives. Modules are permanent-use currency at a Repair Console and can be invested in environment, hacking, or ammo and combat branches.
Reach the Wasteland and unlock access to the Scrap Yard merchant.
Have at least 50 Micro Coils and 250 Micro Drives for each module you plan to buy.
Have a Repair Console available to spend the purchased modules.
Visit D1G-g2r at the Scrap Yard and open the merchant inventory.
Locate the Drone Upgrade Module listing and verify the displayed cost before confirming.
Compare your Micro Coil and Micro Drive totals against upcoming crafting or upgrade needs.
Purchase a module only when the remaining materials are still adequate for your planned uses.
Repeat the purchase if you have enough surplus for another module.
Travel to any Supply Camp Repair Console or Lily at the Tetrapod hideout.
Open the drone upgrade interface and spend the modules on an available branch.
Farming tips
Regional scavenger robots and crates can reduce the amount of crafting material you need to trade for modules.
Choose a branch with a clear use: hacking opens high-security chests, while environment upgrades help scanning.
Repeat, collect and use
Purchases can be repeated while the merchant offers modules and you can pay the listed material cost. This is a conversion loop, not a free module farm.
Common mistakes
Spending all Micro Coils or Drives without checking other needs: reserve materials for planned crafting first.
Looking for modules at a Repair Console: D1G-g2r sells them; the console is where you spend them.
Assuming a module purchase is refundable: drone upgrades are permanent once selected.
When to stop or switch
Stop buying when the next desired drone node is funded or the material cost would compromise another planned upgrade; resume after collecting more surplus materials.
