WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Hallowed Massif on the world map after completing the main story.
Once the base story is complete, use the Hallowed Massif mission as a concrete first post-story route: clear it, take the available mission rewards, and assess the resulting equipment before pushing into harder content. The goal here is to establish a practical gear baseline for your active jobs, so the next Chaos mission is a deliberate step up. This route is for base-game post-story progression; DLC tracks require their own access and unlocks.
Finish the base-game story and unlock post-story mission selection.
Select Hallowed Massif from the available post-story missions.
Equip a functional loadout for the jobs you intend to use.
Open the world map after the story and locate Hallowed Massif in the available mission list.
Check the mission’s displayed level and rewards; proceed only if its level is reasonable for your current gear.
At a Cube before entering or during the route, equip your strongest practical weapons and armor for your active jobs.
Clear the mission objectives and finish the stage, using cubes as checkpoints if available.
Claim the clear rewards and compare new equipment with your current loadout for level, affinity, and useful stats.
Equip upgrades that help your chosen jobs survive and deal damage; retain pieces that support a useful affinity setup.
Return to the map and select a next mission whose displayed level and rewards match your current readiness.
Farming tips
Judge drops against the whole build rather than replacing gear solely because its level is higher.
If Hallowed Massif is not available in your current progression, use an accessible post-story mission at a manageable level and check its reward panel.
Repeat, collect and use
The mission can be replayed for ordinary clear rewards and equipment. Any first-clear reward is one-time; repeating is useful only while the drops or listed rewards help your build.
Common mistakes
Entering a much higher mission tier before improving gear: use the displayed level to choose a reachable target.
Expecting a cube to award mission-clear items: finish the stage and claim the clear rewards.
Assuming this base-game route unlocks DLC missions: meet each expansion’s separate access conditions before targeting its content.
When to stop or switch
Move on when the mission is comfortable and its drops no longer improve your active jobs. If it is too difficult, return to a lower-level available mission and gear up before advancing.
