Search Sea Monkey nests during underwater trips to collect any loose resources they contain and check for scannable technology. Nest contents vary, so treat this as an opportunistic sweep rather than a guaranteed source of a particular material or blueprint. This route is separate from Sea Monkey gifts: it does not depend on having retrieved Al-An or waiting for an animal to offer an item. Keep the resources you find for crafting, and scan unfamiliar technology when you encounter it.

How to farm

Before you go

Diving equipment suitable for the chosen biome and planned depth.
A scanner for technology you have not yet scanned.
Inventory space for loose resources.

Choose one of the named nest areas that fits your current route and equipment.
Enter the biome and look around the cave, forest, or crevice for Sea Monkey nests.
Approach each nest and inspect it for loose resources or technology.
Pick up resources that are useful for your current crafting plans.
Scan any technology you have not already unlocked; scanning contributes to its blueprint progress.
Check nearby nests as you continue through the area, keeping track of the route back to your vehicle or base.
Store collected materials and use them for fabrication, or keep exploring if you still have safe inventory and oxygen capacity.

Farming tips

Carry a scanner so a nest visit can advance a technology unlock as well as collect materials.
Contents are variable; leave room to collect items, but do not plan a crafting trip around a guaranteed drop.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeat the sweep whenever you pass through these biomes. Search available nests and collect what you find; the contents are not guaranteed to be the same on each visit.

Common mistakes

Expecting a specific resource from every nest: collect what is present and use another established route for a required material.
Skipping the scanner: scan unfamiliar technology at the nest before leaving the area.
Pushing beyond your safe return range to check more nests: turn back when oxygen, vehicle access, or inventory space becomes a concern.

When to stop or switch

Finish the sweep when you have collected useful nest contents, scanned available technology, or reached your safe return limit; switch to a targeted material route if you still need a specific resource.
