Where to farm
Sea Monkey habitats in Arctic Kelp Caves, Arctic Kelp Forest, and Lilypads Crevice, after retrieving Al-An from Sanctuary Zero.
Sea Monkeys change their behavior after you retrieve Al-An from Sanctuary Zero: instead of stealing, they can offer resources. Blueprint pinning affects which resources may be offered, and each animal has a cooldown, so this is an opportunistic gathering route rather than dependable production of a chosen material. Visit their habitats, accept gifts when offered, and sort the mixed output at base. Nests can contain resources or scannable technology, but there is no established route for ignored gifts to be deposited in them. Use a direct biome or plant farm when you need a particular resource on demand.
Retrieve Al-An from Sanctuary Zero to enable the helpful Sea Monkey behavior.
Know how to reach a Sea Monkey habitat, such as Arctic Kelp Forest or Lilypads Crevice.
Leave inventory room for mixed resources.
Pin relevant blueprints if you want to expand the possible gift pool.
Complete the Sanctuary Zero retrieval of Al-An before seeking gifts.
