- Know how to reach a Sea Monkey habitat, such as Arctic Kelp Forest or Lilypads Crevice.
- Leave inventory room for mixed resources.
- Pin relevant blueprints if you want to expand the possible gift pool.
Farming steps
- Complete the Sanctuary Zero retrieval of Al-An before seeking gifts.
- Decide which materials could help with current crafting, and pin relevant blueprints if applicable.
- Travel to a Sea Monkey habitat such as Arctic Kelp Forest, its caves, or Lilypads Crevice.
- Watch for a Sea Monkey approaching with an item and accept the offered resource.
- Continue exploring the habitat to encounter other Sea Monkeys; an individual animal has a cooldown.
- Inspect nests for resources or scannable technology when they are present, without assuming they hold refused gifts.
- Return to base and sort the materials by recipe or upgrade use.
- Farm any specifically needed material at its direct source if the gifts do not provide it.
- Treat each gift as variable; check the item offered rather than planning around a particular drop.
- Pin useful blueprints before an outing if you want those eligible resources represented in possible gifts.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat during later trips through Sea Monkey habitats after Al-An is recovered. Gifts are conditional and individual animals have cooldowns, so this is a limited supplemental loop, not guaranteed output.
