Where to farm
Snow Stalker habitats in the Glacial Basin; approach the animal remotely with a Spy Pengling.
Snow Stalker Fur is collected with the Spy Pengling, a remote tool built for above-ground exploration. The Spy Pengling can approach a Snow Stalker and gather fur while you remain at a safer distance. This is a targeted equipment-material route rather than an underwater growbed cycle: prepare the tool, travel to the Glacial Basin, deploy it near a Snow Stalker, and use its interaction to collect fur. Keep the fur for the cold suit crafting goal shown in your Fabricator. Do not kill a Snow Stalker expecting a drop; fur collection uses the Spy Pengling interaction. Withdraw the device before weather or nearby threats make the trip costly, then return with only the amount your recipe needs.
Scan Spy Pengling fragments and fabricate the Spy Pengling.
Reach the Glacial Basin with suitable cold protection and a safe return plan.
Carry room for Snow Stalker Fur and the equipment needed for the land excursion.
Check the Fabricator recipe for the fur quantity required by your clothing goal.
Check your Fabricator and note the Snow Stalker Fur needed for the target clothing recipe.
Make sure the Spy Pengling is fabricated and available before leaving the base.
Travel to a known Snow Stalker area in the Glacial Basin and identify the animal from a safe position.
Deploy the Spy Pengling and pilot it toward the Snow Stalker.
Use the on-screen collection interaction to take fur from the animal.
Collect the device and reposition or withdraw if the Snow Stalker blocks access.
Repeat with another nearby Snow Stalker only if you still need more fur.
Return to base and store the fur with the clothing materials.
Farming tips
Use remote control to collect fur; attacking the Snow Stalker does not provide this material.
Keep the trip focused on the recipe amount and leave before cold exposure or threats compromise your return.

Repeat the Spy Pengling collection route when another clothing craft needs fur. The source is the Snow Stalker interaction, not a planted crop or kill drop.
Common mistakes
Leaving without the Spy Pengling: it is the collection tool for the animal.
Trying to harvest with a knife or by killing the creature: use the remote device interaction.
Carrying no cold protection or return plan: treat Glacial Basin travel as a land survival excursion.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the Fabricator’s clothing recipe requirement is covered, or withdraw if you cannot safely reach another Snow Stalker.
