WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Production Terminal Lima on Strata 1, where the campaign begins.
On Strata 1, use the early Lima task reward to secure a small iron reserve, then turn part of it into ingots for the next progression steps. This is a tutorial-scale collection method; later factories need a vein and mining equipment.
At the starting area, face Terminal Lima and read the first task’s requested items and listed rewards.
Complete the task as shown in game; its recorded reward list includes 10 Iron Ore and no listed ingredients.
Collect the reward from the terminal interaction if the task panel requires it.
Reserve two Iron Ore for the next Lima conversion task.
Complete the task that lists five Iron Ingots for two Iron Ore.
Keep the resulting ingots available for the tutorial’s conveyor and Excavator Bit I progression gates.
For later bulk supply, locate an iron vein and use a Mining Drill when that equipment is unlocked.
Farming tips
Treat terminal rewards as task rewards, not as a repeatable vein yield.
Check the active task panel before spending early iron; later ingots support required progression.
Repeat, collect and use
The Lima reward is a limited tutorial source. For ongoing supply, mine a discovered iron vein; resource veins are finite, so move to another listed vein when depleted.
Common mistakes
Spending every early ore before the ingot task: hold back the two ore needed for that conversion.
Assuming the reward repeats indefinitely: switch to a vein for continued supply.
Confusing raw ore with ingots: use the terminal task or a smelter to process ore.
When to stop or switch
Stop collecting from the tutorial task once its reward is claimed; move to a vein-based supply when your factory needs more iron.
