After reaching Strata 2, collect limestone from the listed vein near the Victor floor. The resource index identifies it as a mineable finite deposit. Use a pickaxe for a small stock or a Mining Drill for automated extraction, then check the current build recipe before committing the material.

An inventory or container buffer for the collected limestone. Open the original-map resource listing and select the Strata 2 limestone entry at X78/Y216. Reach the site through the cave passages you have opened, then identify the visible limestone vein. Mine the deposit with the Standard Pickaxe for immediate materials. If a Mining Drill is available and its placement requirements are met, use it to extract the vein automatically. Bring the limestone to the factory and store it separately from ore and processed materials. Check the Smelter or other current construction panel to confirm how much limestone the next build requires. When this deposit is depleted, use the listed Strata 3 vein at X126/Y252 as the next recorded location. Farming tips The database lists locations and extraction methods, but no deposit sizes or respawn timing. Keep some limestone uncommitted until you have checked the recipe panel for the machine you intend to build. Repeat, collect and use Repeat by extracting from an available limestone vein. Deposits are finite; once one is exhausted, move to another listed stratum location.
Common mistakes Assuming the vein is renewable: plan to develop another site after depletion. Hauling material without a recipe goal: check the intended build’s current requirements first. Treating ore and limestone as interchangeable: keep separate buffers and follow each recipe panel.
