Angler Quest Fish
The biome and depth zone specified by the Angler’s current quest.
- The Angler NPC available to give a quest.
- A fishing pole, bait and access to the requested location.
- Inventory space for the fish and reward.
Angler quests provide recurring rewards for catching a requested fish under specified conditions. Each request gives fishing a concrete target.

Read the Angler’s current request, then fish for its named quest fish in the indicated biome and depth. The request sets the target, so there is no single permanent location for this activity. Catch the fish and return it to the Angler for the daily reward. Keep quest catches separate from food and crafting fish; the next request may require a different fish and location. A stored quest fish does not replace catching the fish requested for a new quest.
One quest fish can be turned in per in-game day per player. Repeat on later days with the new request, which may differ.
Stop when the request is turned in. Move to another activity until another daily quest is available.
