Angler Quest Fish

Before you go
- The Angler NPC available to give a quest.
- A fishing pole, bait and access to the requested location.
- Inventory space for the fish and reward.
Farming steps
- Speak with the Angler and read the exact requested fish and location.
- Confirm the biome and depth, then travel to a matching pool.
- Equip a pole and bait and cast into the water.
- Reel when the bobber signals, then check catches for the named fish.
- Continue fishing under the requested conditions until you catch it.
- Keep the quest fish in your inventory and return to the Angler.
- Turn in the fish and store useful rewards.
- Confirm the fishing layer as well as the biome before starting a long session.
- Keep quest fish separate from ordinary catches so they are easy to deliver.
Repeat, collect and use
One quest fish can be turned in per in-game day per player. Repeat on later days with the new request, which may differ.
Common mistakes
- Fishing in the right biome but wrong depth; verify both details in the request.
- Trying multiple turn-ins on the same day; the limit is one per player.
- Selling or consuming the target; reserve it for the Angler.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the request is turned in. Move to another activity until another daily quest is available.
