Farming steps
- Visit freshwater during daylight so the water and shallows are easier to inspect.
- Scan for fish before entering the water; choose a clear bank where you can reach the target.
- Use a spear against a visible fish and watch where it falls or remains in the water.
- Collect the fish from the water or shoreline once it is within reach.
- Return to a fire and cook the catch if you need food soon.
- Place spare fish on a Drying Rack when preparing a longer trip.
- Recheck the same water only if fish remain visible; otherwise move to another suitable source.
- Clear, shallow water makes it easier to see a target before spending time fishing.
- Process the catch promptly at camp so the food is ready for your next outing.
