Farming steps
- Open the research interface and inspect the prerequisite path for Biomass Energy.
- Complete the listed prerequisite and unlock the biomass plant option.
- Choose a site near the grid and a practical fuel source.
- Place the correct biomass power plant and connect it to the network.
- Set up a continuing biomass collection or cultivation route.
- Feed the plant and confirm the grid shows it operating.
- Watch fuel reserves and power balance before retiring another generator.
- Low-cost construction does not remove the need for continuing fuel.
- Keep fuel delivery distinct from any plant output reserved for buildings or other uses.
Repeat, collect and use
Fuel and power generation continue only while biomass is supplied. Refill or restore the collection loop whenever its reserve falls.
Common mistakes
- Replacing dependable generation before confirming fuel delivery: keep backup capacity until the plant runs steadily.
- Expecting a stocked plant to operate indefinitely: monitor its ongoing fuel need.
- Sending every cultivated plant to fuel: reserve the materials required by current construction.
When to stop or switch
Stop adding biomass plants when fuel supply cannot keep up or the grid already has enough generation; switch to another power source if biomass is the bottleneck.
