Farming steps
- Check the farmhouse crop list for Canola and confirm the Press is available to build.
- Place and staff the farmhouse so its work area covers irrigated field blocks.
- Mark the selected blocks as Canola using Plant Crops and verify water access.
- Place the Press where it can receive harvested Canola and connect its required power supply.
- Provide a clear output route and storage for oil, keeping it distinct from food stock.
- Check the Press status and inventories; address missing input, power, or hauling before increasing acreage.
- Send oil to the downstream production buildings that use it, and keep the Canola field maintained.
- Farmhouse crop compatibility is faction-specific; do not assume Folktails fields can grow Iron Teeth Canola.

Repeat, collect and use
Repeat planting, harvesting, pressing, and oil delivery while Canola remains available and the field, Press, power, and hauling route can operate. Oil production is not a one-time collection.
