Farm charm shards from their matching monster type
Monster Charms come from particular creature types, so targeting the matching family is the practical route to collect fragments for a chosen equipment bonus. Completion needs the number shown by that Charm, with an additional bonus specified by its tooltip.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Campaign areas where the target Monster Charm’s matching creature family spawns, identified from the item’s database record or in-game item details.
Decide which Charm’s effect suits a compatible gear slot, then find its creature source and clear that family. Keep only fragments with the exact matching Charm name and combine them when the displayed count is met. The number of pieces and completion effect belong to the individual Charm; do not assume the count or bonus is the same for every type.
Choose one exact Monster Charm and confirm its creature source.
Check the Charm tooltip for required pieces and completion bonus.
Reach a campaign area with the matching monster type.
Leave inventory space to store matching pieces together.
Inspect the target Charm and decide what equipment slot could use its listed effect.
Travel to an area containing the associated creature family.
Clear those creatures and inspect drops for fragments with the exact Charm name.
Keep matching fragments together and separate them from other Charm types.
Repeat the creature clear until the tooltip’s required count is reached.
Combine the fragments and review the finished Charm’s completion bonus.
Apply it to compatible gear if the result is useful for your build.
Farming tips
Monster Charms can enhance eligible non-epic and non-legendary equipment; check the target item before applying.
The database can help identify the source creature, while the in-game tooltip resolves the count and bonus for your item.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable fragment collection; a completed Charm takes the item-specific number of matching pieces. Additional copies require another full set, and drops are not assured.
Common mistakes
Killing the wrong creature family: verify the Charm’s actual source before choosing a route.
Combining different Charm names: only matching fragments complete one item.
Assuming a fixed fragment count or fixed completion effect: read the exact tooltip and plan around it.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the Charm is complete and applied to useful gear, or switch to another target if the bonus does not fit your build.
