WHERE & HOW TO FARM Where to farm Hades’ Palace in Act IV of Immortal Throne, ending in Hades’ final arena.
Use the Hades Palace fountain to shorten repeat attempts, then follow the palace route to the final arena. Learn the fight’s phases, prioritize vitality resistance, and move away from the distinctive Shadow Star attack rather than trying to absorb it. Collect both the boss loot and chest reward before resetting the session.
Before you go Own and access Immortal Throne, then progress to Hades’ Palace. Activate the rebirth fountain in the Prison of Souls for a closer restart point. Bring strong vitality resistance and enough physical defense for the encounter. Carry healing supplies and leave room for loot. Travel to the Hades Palace portal and run through the palace to the Prison of Souls fountain if it is not yet activated. Use the fountain as the staging point, then follow the open palace route to Hades. During the fight, watch for the raised-hand Shadow Star animation and move clear of its projectile spread. Avoid lingering in the moving Death Vortex and reposition for other phase attacks. Defeat Hades, collect his drops, and open the nearby reward chest. Return to town or the fountain, then restart the session to repeat the encounter. Farming tips Vitality resistance is especially valuable because much of Hades’ damage uses that type. Learn the difference between Shadow Star and the smaller Shadow Bolt so you spend movement on the most dangerous tell. Repeat, collect and use Repeatable by restarting the session after the kill. Boss and chest results vary; a particular item is never assured.
Common mistakes Rushing in without vitality resistance: improve that defense before attempting repeated runs. Standing still through Shadow Star: react to the cast animation and move away from the split projectiles. Resetting before collecting the chest: include all rewards in the clear. When to stop or switch Stop when the desired upgrades are secured, the run is no longer safe or efficient, or another endgame activity better fits your goal.
