Clear Wild Lands events for additional loot

Use Wild Lands’ optional encounters as useful stops while exploring, collecting their rewards without treating separate World Quests as one repeatable loot circuit.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Wild Lands Chapter 4, along the areas explored after following the concluding Chapter 3 quest. Events and secrets are distributed through the chapter; no fixed route is established here.

Update 7 adds more than twenty Wild Lands events and secrets alongside its World Quests. This guide focuses on completing optional event objectives encountered during chapter exploration; the distinct World Quest starts and their routes are covered separately. Event rewards and objectives can differ, and the current facts do not establish a fixed event circuit or a universal payout. Follow the active in-game objective, finish what it asks, and collect the reward the game displays. This is PC Global Early Access content for the Wild Lands build, which opens after Chapter 3.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Complete the Chapter 3 conclusion and follow its quest into Wild Lands.
  • Be prepared to handle the enemies or interactions required by an event you encounter.
  • Track the active objective in the journal and leave inventory capacity for useful drops.
  1. Enter Wild Lands by following the quest at the end of Chapter 3.
  2. Explore the chapter and pay attention to event or secret prompts that appear in the current area.
  3. When an optional event begins, read its objective and track it in the journal if available.
  4. Complete the specific interaction or encounter the objective requests; do not assume every event is a combat challenge.
  5. Check for a completion message or updated journal state before leaving the area.
  6. Collect the reward presented by the game and review any item drops before selling or marking them as junk.
  7. Continue to another event only when it lies along your exploration route or serves your current progression goal.

Farming tips

  • Some optional objectives may be discovered through exploration rather than a map marker, so inspect prompts as you travel.
  • Keep gear you can use and mark unwanted items as junk for sale; event rewards are not established as identical.

Repeat, collect and use

Wild Lands contains many separate events, but these facts do not establish that any individual event resets or pays out repeatedly. Complete each available objective once unless the game itself presents it again as active.

Common mistakes

  • Treating all events as the same reward source: inspect the individual objective and reward before deciding whether to pursue it.
  • Leaving before confirming completion: check the journal or on-screen state and collect the presented reward.
  • Following an assumed fixed circuit: no verified event route is established, so use the events available in your current exploration.

When to stop or switch

Stop optional event clearing when the current objective is complete, your inventory needs attention, or the events no longer support your immediate chapter or gear goal. Resume the main quest or pursue a separate active objective.
