Reroll an affix on a worthwhile item when its current value is the main obstacle to using it.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Crafting interface with an existing item selected for Reforge.
Reforging lets you change an affix on an existing item. It can help turn a promising base into a better fit, but the possible result is not a guaranteed chosen stat. Review the options and costs shown by the crafting interface before applying a roll. Repeated crafting increases material and gold costs, so an item that is only temporarily useful can consume resources better saved for a stronger base. The system modifies found equipment; it cannot create a new item from scratch.
Unlock crafting in the current Early Access build.
Have an item with a base worth keeping and an affix you can afford to change.
Have the materials and gold displayed for the action.
Select an existing item whose base and remaining affixes are useful to your build.
Choose Reforge in the crafting interface for the affix you intend to change.
Review the displayed possible values and the full material and gold cost.
Decide whether any available result would improve the item before confirming.
Apply the reforge only if the potential outcomes justify the expense.
Compare the result with your previous setup and equip or keep the item if it serves your build.
Farming tips
Set a clear target for what would count as an improvement before rolling.
Keep the interface preview in view; the result pool is constrained by the item.
Repeat, collect and use
Reforging may be performed again where the interface allows, but each repeated crafting action increases material and gold costs. No specific roll is guaranteed.
Common mistakes
Rerolling disposable gear: reserve crafting for an item with lasting value.
Confirming without checking eligible outcomes: inspect the displayed choices first.
Repeating rolls without a budget: stop when the next cost outweighs the item’s likely value.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you get a useful result, the displayed outcomes no longer justify the cost, or a better item replaces the base. Move to another crafting target or save resources.
