Where to farm
Boss encounters in the Wild Lands chapter, unlocked after the Chapter 3 conclusion.
Update 7 increases Epic chances on repeat boss kills as well as first defeats. That makes a boss you can reliably beat a possible source of further equipment improvements, but it does not guarantee a particular rarity or item. Pick from the bosses you have actually reached; the available research does not establish a universal fastest boss, fixed reset method, or stable drop table. Compare each run’s gear against your current build and move on when the encounter stops producing useful upgrades. The Wild Lands and its loot belong to the PC Global Early Access Update 7 build, which can change in later patches.
Finish Chapter 3 and follow its quest into the Wild Lands.
Unlock access to a boss encounter and have defeated it at least once.
Have a build that can clear that encounter without exhausting supplies or time.
Choose a Wild Lands boss whose fight you can handle consistently.
Review your gear before entering and identify the equipment slot or stat you want to improve.
Defeat the boss, collect its drops, and check them against that specific goal.
Keep useful upgrades; mark or sell items that do not fit your build.
If the encounter remains efficient and relevant, repeat it using the same comparison standard.
Revisit other available bosses or chapter objectives when this fight no longer serves your gear goal.
Farming tips
The increased repeat-kill Epic chance is not a guarantee; decide based on actual drops and build needs.
Keep a short list of desired stats or slots to avoid holding every plausible item.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable after the boss has been reached and defeated. The improved chance applies to repeat kills in this update, but neither specific drops nor results per run are guaranteed.
Common mistakes
Treating the increased chance as certainty: judge the farm by observed upgrades, not promised loot.
Repeating an encounter that no longer fits your needs: switch to another boss or quest objective.
Ignoring inventory pressure: mark or sell non-upgrades between runs.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the boss’s drops no longer improve your equipment, the fight is no longer comfortable, or another chapter activity better advances your current goal.
