Escalation and seasonal advancement

Earn specialization points from listed objectives

Objectives that explicitly award specialization points provide a direct way to unlock nodes for a chosen specialization.

PC / Global, Year 8 Season 3: Red Horizon (Update Y8S3.2)
WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Specialization menu, current daily and weekly Projects, and invaded mission map markers when their reward panel lists specialization points.

Use the current activity and project reward panels to identify objectives that grant specialization points, then complete and claim them while the intended specialization is selected. Reward availability can vary, so rely on the live objective panel rather than assuming every mission pays points.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Endgame progression and at least one unlocked specialization.
  • A specialization with unpurchased nodes.
  • Access to the listed project or invaded activity and its displayed requirements.
  1. Open the Specialization menu and select the specialization whose nodes you want to unlock.
  2. Review daily and weekly Projects and invaded mission details for a reward entry that specifically lists specialization points.
  3. Choose an eligible objective and note its completion conditions before starting.
  4. Complete the named mission or project tasks at a difficulty you can finish reliably.
  5. Return to the objective panel and claim its reward; do not change specialization before claiming.
  6. Reopen the Specialization menu and confirm the points were credited to the selected specialization.
  7. Purchase the desired node, then repeat with another listed point-awarding objective if more points are needed.

Farming tips

  • Reward panels are the reliable check: not every daily or weekly objective awards specialization points.
  • Claim rewards before switching specialization so you can direct the progress to the build you are unlocking.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeat while current objectives list specialization points. Project schedules and reward contents can change, so this is not a guaranteed daily payout.

Common mistakes

  • Assuming every invaded mission grants points; verify the reward panel before investing time.
  • Changing specialization before claiming the objective; select the intended specialization first.
  • Leaving a completed project unclaimed; claim it in the panel to receive the listed reward.

When to stop or switch

Stop once the needed node is purchased or no available objective lists specialization points; resume when a suitable objective appears.
